"Alhamdulillah! Today marks the first Iftar of Ramadan2025 in India.
May Allah accept our fasts and bless us all in this holy month!
It is recommended to start Iftar with dates, as this was the practice of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"When one of you breaks his fast, let him break it with dates, for they are blessed. If he cannot find dates, then let him break it with water, for it is pure."
(Sunan Abu Dawood 2355)
