Alhamdulillah, today we are honoured to share a story that touched all of our hearts.
This week, The Lily Jay Foundation was blessed with the opportunity to sponsor a mother and her young daughter on their journey to Makkah for Umrah.
A Journey of Hope and Renewal
For this mother and daughter, Umrah wasn’t just a trip, it was a moment to reset their hearts, ask Allah for strength, and feel seen and loved after a very difficult period in their lives .They made dua for the entire Ummah, for the people of Gaza, Sudan, and all those suffering worldwide.And they made dua for everyone who supports The Lily Jay Foundation.
Why We Do This
Moments like this remind us that charity isn’t only food packs, water wells, and emergency relief. Sometimes it’s giving someone the chance to cry in sujood, to feel hope again, to reconnect with Allah and return home spiritually renewed.
May Allah accept this from all of us, reward everyone involved, and allow us to continue sending more deserving people to Umrah, inshaAllah.
