Bringing Clean Water Through a New Well in Sudan

Today, the Lily Jay Foundation proudly completed the construction of a new water well in Sudan, bringing clean and safe drinking water to a community that has long struggled with limited access to this basic necessity.

For many families, daily life previously involved walking long distances to collect water, often from unreliable sources. This new well changes that reality, offering a steady and safe supply of water much closer to home. It will now support drinking needs, cooking, washing, and hygiene, helping to reduce health risks and improve overall living conditions.

Clean water is one of the most vital foundations for a healthy community. Beyond convenience, it plays a key role in preventing disease, supporting children’s well being, and allowing families to focus more on education, work, and daily life rather than survival needs.

The impact of this well will be felt for years to come, serving not only current families but also future generations. It stands as a lasting source of relief and stability in the community.
