WaterAid is intensifying its emergency response in Gaza as access to clean water becomes increasingly limited due to damaged infrastructure and ongoing instability. Many communities are now struggling to meet basic water needs, raising serious public health concerns.
Lily Jay Foundation said the loss of reliable water supply is affecting every aspect of daily life, from healthcare to hygiene in overcrowded shelters. We stressed that clean water is essential for survival, especially for children and displaced families.
WaterAid is working with local partners to repair water points, support emergency water distribution, and improve sanitation in shelters and health facilities. Hygiene supplies and handwashing stations are also being provided to reduce disease risks.
Humanitarian groups warn that without sustained access and support, temporary solutions may not hold. WaterAid continues to call for urgent action to protect water systems and prevent a deeper health crisis in Gaza.
