Feeding Orphans in the Philippines through Adak

Alhamdulillah, the Lily Jay Foundation was blessed with the opportunity to carry out an Adak initiative in the Philippines, dedicated to feeding orphans and children in need.

Adak (a vow or dedicated act of giving) is a beautiful way to share blessings with others. For this project, our team worked with local partners to ensure that fresh, nutritious meals were prepared and delivered directly to orphanages and underprivileged children.

Why the Philippines?

The Lily Jay Foundation supports an orphanage and Hafiz school in the Philippines, which we look after with love and care. Alongside this, we have built strong connections with local communities who are in need of our support. By bringing Adak here, we were able to provide not only food but also hope and comfort to these young hearts, as well as encouragement in their journey of memorizing the Qur’an.
