Fruit Aid and Quran Lessons Bring Comfort and Hope to Children in Gaza

Today in Gaza, a day that began with uncertainty turned into one filled with nourishment and spiritual light. Dozens of children gathered with quiet anticipation, waiting not only for fresh fruit but also for their Quran lesson. In a place where hardship has become part of daily life, even small moments of care can mean everything. The sight of neatly arranged fruit and open Qurans created an atmosphere of both relief and purpose.

As the fruit was distributed, children’s faces lit up with genuine joy. For many, this simple gift was a rare treat fresh, healthy food shared in a safe and caring environment. Laughter replaced silence as they sat together, eating and preparing for their lesson. Soon after, the sound of Quran recitation filled the space. Young voices read with focus and dedication, finding peace and strength in every verse. It was more than a class; it was a reminder of faith, resilience, and community.

This initiative was made possible through the Lily Jay Foundation, whose continued support helps provide both physical nourishment and spiritual guidance to children in need. By combining fruit aid with Quran education, the program nurtures both body and soul. We remain committed to continuing this work, ensuring that the children of Gaza receive not only food, but hope, knowledge, and the reassurance that they are not forgotten.
