This past week has been one of the most difficult for the camp we’ve been supporting in Gaza.
Due to heavy bombings in the area, the families we’ve been working with were forced to evacuate their camp. In the video our team sent us from the ground, you can even hear the terrifying sounds of bombs and shootings echoing in the background. These families, already vulnerable, have now been displaced once again, left to seek safety in an increasingly uncertain situation.
Adding to the hardship, our water truck was taken, meaning we could no longer rely on our main distribution method. But with the grace of Allah and the dedication of our local team, we adapted quickly. We brought in large water tanks instead, ensuring that families could still receive what they need most: clean water.
Despite all these challenges, together we were able to distribute 3 tanks enough to provide relief to 1,000 families. For many, this was the only source of safe drinking water they had access to that day.
These moments remind us why we do what we do. Even under the harshest conditions, your support makes a direct, life-saving impact. The resilience of the people we serve and the generosity of those who stand with them, keeps hope alive.
Thank you lily I hope god reward you on earth and in the afterlife
May Allah reward you
