Quran Distribution in a Ugandan School

ree

In a small school in Uganda, a moment of light and faith was shared. The Lily Jay Foundation had the honor of distributing copies of the Holy Quran

to students, many of whom were receiving one for the very first time in their lives.

For these young hearts, it wasn’t just a book. It was a gift of knowledge, guidance, and hope. In places where access to Islamic education is limited, a single Quran can become a treasured source of comfort and spiritual connection for an entire family.

“And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah, does righteousness, and says, ‘Indeed, I am of the Muslims.’”(Qur’an 41:33)

Seeing the joy on their faces as they opened their Qurans reminded us why our mission continues to empower, educate, and bring faith closer to those who long for it. Each Quran handed out is a seed of understanding, a reminder that no matter how far apart we are, we are one Ummah, united by the words of Allah.

And for every word these children read, a reward is written for everyone who helped make this possible, for all those who supported these children in need, whether through prayer, effort, or contribution. Their kindness lives on with every recitation and every verse remembered.

May these children grow with faith in their hearts and knowledge in their hands, and may this small act inspire many more around the world to share the beauty of the Quran.
