Supporting Families with Disabilities on the Turkey–Syria Border

At the Lily Jay Foundation, our mission has always been to reach the most vulnerable. those who are often overlooked and struggling in silence. Recently, by the mercy of Allah, we were able to extend our support to families living on the Turkey–Syria border who are living with disabilities and facing severe hardship.

Food Packs for Families in Need

We sent food packs directly to families, ensuring that they had essentials to help them through these difficult times. Many of these households are caring for loved ones with physical or cognitive disabilities, making it even harder for them to secure food and basic needs. Our aim was to relieve some of their daily burdens, even if only for a short time.

Why This Matters

The border region remains one of the most fragile areas in the world. Families here have endured years of displacement, conflict, and poverty. For those living with disabilities, the challenges are doubled. Access to employment, healthcare, and basic services is extremely limited. A simple food pack can mean dignity, comfort, and hope for families who are too often forgotten.
