Tent When It Matters Most for a Family in Gaza

One family in Gaza received an emergency tent, offering a small but vital sense of safety amid displacement and loss. For families who have been forced from their homes, the nights are the hardest. Parents lie awake listening for danger, worrying about the cold, the heat, and how to protect their children with so little around them. Privacy is gone. Comfort feels distant. Everything familiar has been taken away.
This tent changed that, even if only slightly. It gave one family a place to gather, to rest, and to sleep without being fully exposed. For the children, it meant having a roof again. For the parents, it meant a moment to breathe.
This shelter was made possible through the support of the Lily Jay Foundation, whose compassion helped ensure that one family was not left without protection.
It is not a permanent home. It does not erase the hardship. But for this family, it is safety for tonight and tonight matters.
