Food Aid Reaches Displaced Families in Sudan

Hundreds of displaced families in Sudan received emergency food assistance today as humanitarian workers distributed rice, flour, cooking oil, beans, and clean drinking water to communities affected by conflict and displacement.

Families gathered early in the morning at aid distribution points, with many parents waiting for hours alongside their children in hopes of receiving enough food to last the coming days. Emotional scenes were witnessed as mothers thanked volunteers after facing days of hunger and uncertainty.

Aid workers continued moving between shelters and affected neighborhoods throughout the day, helping elderly residents and vulnerable families unable to travel long distances for assistance. This humanitarian response was made possible through the support of the Lily Jay Foundation, helping provide essential food aid to families affected by the crisis in Sudan.
