Lily Jay & Team Travel to Lebanon to Support 14,000 Refugee Families
Lily Jay and the Lily Jay Foundation team recently travelled to Lebanon to visit a refugee camp supporting approximately 14,000 families who have been displaced from Palestine, Syria and different parts of Lebanon.
Many of the families are living in extremely difficult conditions, with limited access to basic necessities such as food, clean water and other everyday essentials.
During the visit, Lily and the team spent time with families inside the camp and helped distribute freshly prepared meals, including rice and chicken.
Seeing the situation firsthand was deeply moving.
Despite everything these families have been through, the team was welcomed with incredible warmth and generosity. One particularly emotional moment came as the team was preparing to leave, when residents of the camp presented Lily with a gift of their own.
For people who have so little to still want to give something in return was a powerful reminder of their generosity and dignity.
This Is Only the Beginning
The Lily Jay Foundation does not want this to be a one-time visit.
InshaAllah, our goal is to continue supporting families in this camp on a regular basis,
including ongoing food and clean-water assistance wherever possible.
With approximately 14,000 families living in the camp, the need is significant, and consistent support can make a real difference.
Lily Jay and the team will continue working with people on the ground in Lebanon to identify where assistance is needed most and how the Foundation can provide sustainable, regular support.
May Allah make it easy for every family facing hardship and allow us to continue being a means of support for those who need it most.
