A new clean water well has been completed in Uganda, providing safe drinking water to families who previously struggled every day to access clean water.
For many residents, collecting water meant walking long distances under the heat while carrying heavy containers back home. Families often depended on unsafe water sources for drinking, cooking, and washing, putting children and elderly people at risk.
Today, the community gathered around the newly opened well as clean water flowed for the first time. Children smiled while filling buckets and containers, celebrating a moment of relief for their families and neighbors.
The new well will now serve the local community daily, giving families easier access to safe water and helping improve living conditions for many households.
This water well project was completed through the support of the Lily Jay Foundation, continuing its mission to provide essential support to communities in need.
