We Are Now in Bangladesh! Bringing Clean Water Where It’s Needed Most

Alhamdulillah, we are blessed to announce that the Lily Jay Foundation has officially begun water well projects in Bangladesh. This marks another step in our mission to deliver clean, safe drinking water to communities who need it most.

Why Bangladesh?

Bangladesh is a country full of beautiful people, rich culture, and immense generosity, yet it faces ongoing challenges when it comes to accessing clean and safe water.

Many rural areas depend on shallow wells or surface water contaminated with:

  • Bacteria and parasites

  • Arsenic and heavy metals

  • Industrial runoff

  • Floodwater contamination

These sources are unsafe for drinking, cooking, or even washing. As a result, waterborne diseases are one of the leading causes of illness, especially in children. Some families walk long distances daily just to fill a small container, water that many of us would hesitate to even wash our hands with.

Our Project Goal

We are currently working with local teams to identify regions with the highest need. Our aim is to build safe, deep tube wells that provide clean water year-round, serving entire communities, sometimes hundreds of people from just one well.
