Water Truck Aid Delivered to Gaza on October 18, 2025
On October 18, 2025, the Lily Jay Foundation successfully delivered a water truck aid to the people of Gaza, continuing our mission to bring relief, dignity, and hope to those in need. For many families in Gaza, access to clean water remains one of the most pressing humanitarian challenges. With damaged infrastructure and limited resources, every delivery makes a meaningful difference. This latest mission provided thousands of litres of clean drinking water to families in ar

Why Do We Perform Animal Sacrifice?
Offering an animal sacrifice is one of the most powerful acts of devotion, a way to give thanks, seek forgiveness, and bring relief to others all at the same time. Many people choose to give a sacrifice: 🤍 When you’re praying for someone’s recovery or healing 🕋 When seeking Allah’s acceptance of your du‘a 🌿 As charity on behalf of a loved one who has passed away 💫 In gratitude for a blessing or answered prayer 🌙 When asking for forgiveness and closeness to Allah 🌍 Turni

Lily Jay Foundation Delivers 500,000 Liters of Water
This month, the Lily Jay Foundation distributed over 500,000 litres of clean water to families in desperate need. For many, this water meant survival. A chance to drink, cook, make Wudu and live with dignity once more. Water isn’t a luxury; it’s a basic human right . Yet for too many, especially in war-torn regions like Gaza, access to clean water remains a daily struggle. Even with talk of ceasefires, the suffering hasn’t ended. Homes are still destroyed, wells remain dry

🌍 Our Work Expands to Uganda: Bringing Clean Water to New Communities
Alhamdulillah we’re excited to share some amazing news. The Lily Jay Foundation has officially launched a team on the ground in Uganda , dedicated to building fresh water wells for families in need. Across many villages, people walk hours under the sun just to collect small amounts of water, often unsafe and contaminated. Our mission is to change that. Every well we build means children can go to school instead of walking miles, mothers can cook and clean with clean water, an

Ceasefire or Not... Gaza Still Needs Us
The recent ceasefire has brought a moment of silence to Gaza but silence doesn’t mean safety, and peace doesn’t mean recovery. Yes, the bombs have stopped (for now), but the struggle continues. Entire neighborhoods lie in ruins. Wells are contaminated. Families still walk miles just to find a drop of clean water or a small bag of flour. Hospitals remain overwhelmed, and children are growing up surrounded by rubble instead of classrooms. Our team is still on the ground in Gaza

A ceasefire isn’t peace it’s just a pause
Even though a ceasefire has been announced, Gaza is still suffering deeply. The bombs may have paused, but the pain has not. Families are still living in ruins, children are still thirsty, and clean water is still hard to find. Let’s be honest about what’s really happening. Gaza’s Water System Is Broken The water crisis in Gaza didn’t start today, but the war has made it much worse. Many wells, water pipes, and desalination plants have been destroyed. Without working systems,
